Hi there, I’ve created a custom landing page which looks great, using the {%layout none%} method. I created a new page template from a duplicate, and added this to the top of the code.
The issue I’m now having is that Shopify’s analytics no longer recognises the data from that page, so seeing landing page views, where they come from etc is no longer possible.
I’m looking for a way to have a full screen design, with no header and footer, but still retain the ability to check the data for performance reasons.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Ketan,
Many thanks for your reply. I’ll post the full issue here so you understand my problem fully.
I have created a landing page here https://stevenphysique.com/pages/coaching-services (Debut theme) and the template used for the page was a duplicate of the page.liquid template with {%layout none%} at the top. I used this as I wanted a full width page, with none of the constraints or template features from the original.
The page looks great, but the problem I have is that by removing the layout, it seems it’s also removed the ability to report back to google and shopify analytics all of the landing page metrics and user data, like page views, acquisition data etc. No page data is included at all when looking at the site performance. This data is important to be able to measure conversion rates and ad spend etc.
I’m looking for a way to create a page template, or modify the existing one, that allows me to have no header or footer, a full width design without bg color, which still includes the necessary code to report to analytics the page performance.
I hope that makes sense, and thanks in advance for your time and effort.
@underbite

Thanks for the reply.
No, it’s full width which is great, but the page doesn’t show up on Shopify analytics due to the way it’s been made according to the Shopify Help team.
I’m looking for a way to keep the page looking as it is, but also include all tracking data for Shopify and Google analytics.
Does that make sense?
Thanks again!

I tried that, and they said they can’t help me because it has something to do with custom code. I’ll have to try to figure out how to create a new page template I think.
Thanks again
Do you happen to know which file in the theme code I can find the analytics section?
Thanks
@underbite
