Create app to display additional text underneath product price

Hi guys,

I’m a newbie in Shopify app development. I want to create an app that displays additional text underneath product price at catalog page and product detail page. Please see the attached images:

The additional prices are retrieved from external API.

How can I do this? Could you help to suggest I should check which reference or tool?

I read this document and see we can add additional text underneath product price by creating the app theme extension with app block. But I only can do it on the product page that allow me to add a block to section. For the collection page, I can not do it because it’s not available to add a block for each product.

Anyone could let me know how we can add the additional text underneath product price on collection page and product feature area of home page? I want to do this from my app.
