Create Dropdown Menu With Links on Homepage

Hello,

Does anyone know of any way, including potentially any apps that would allow me to add a dropdown menu on my homepage. Not in the navigation. But below the header, on the top of the body of the page. I need it to be able to link to other pages on the website. I know you can prolly do that with codes but I dont really know coding too well. So trying to see if there’s a way around this.

Thank you!

:bomb: https://xyproblem.info/ , Why ignore the tools that are given, the menu system and it’s navigation UI in the theme are made to be cohesive by the theme designers.

Adding spurious menus or other interactions to a sites is a cliché of merchants, trying to wear the UI designer/coder hat, that mainly serves to degrade their websites consistency and trustworthiness.

Tune and cut excess from the nav, avoid confusing customers.

DIY

If you must DIY then google html menu makers/generators, or even chatgpt :bomb: always keep in mind if you don’t know what your doing you are unable to tell if chatgpt like tools are serving you hot garbage be thorough and test generated-code rigorously.

Then in most OS2.0 themes you can use a custom-liquid section, or block, to insert a menu on the homepage.

But only some themes will have it for the header group so it’s global for all pages, almost all other themes you’d have to add the custom-liquid section/block to every single template and alternate template to be consistent.

Otherwise see mega menu apps etc, or hire someone for theme customizations, etc.

If you need this code/customization created the contact me by my email for services, use case details are required.
