Created a new meta field definition but it's not available to use.

Hey guys, so I created a new meta field definition for my products called special instructions. I added some text to it in my products, but when I try to use it by inserting a dynamic source, it doesn’t show up in the list of meta fields I can call upon.

It’s just a standard text field and I’m using a text field to insert it. Does it take a while for new meta fields to propagate and become available? I seem to remember they were always available pretty quickly in the past.

Any help is greatly appreciated as I’m promoting a post to this product tonight so ideally need this piece of info in there now.

Typically solved right after posting.

I used a multi-line text meta field which apparently isn’t allowed within the standard text block. I had to change it to single-line and it worked.
