Hi - I am trying to create a page of hi-res images. Preferably where a customer could enter a carousel view. I want Users to be able to download images after they enter their email and phone number (using locksmith).
For more context, I host comedy shows. We always have an atmosphere photographer. I want people who attend to be able to visit the website and download pictures of themselves.
Every thing I try is either ugly or the plug ins are overkill and made for look books or connecting products.
We can then create a new page template for this or if you just want it as another section on a default page template that would be great.
We can create this custom section or may be used pre-built Shopify sections to include carousel of images with a little tweak to make them downloadable

if your using a compatible theme, just as from the horizons theme collection.
At the risk of time and patience you could try prompting the AI bot sidekick/shopify magic to create the section, keeping in mind it is probabilistically generated code so even the best prompt of technical requirements will often have problems you can’t fix if you have no web-programming experience.
There’s also how you will manage every set of photos, just dumping them in file assets will be an organizational and editing chore for every show.
There’s metaobjects and metafields but apps are needed for bulk uploading.
A hack could be to set every show as a product to quickly add bunches of photos.
But this will vary based on if each person is only meant to be able to view/download specific pictures with the locksmith integration.
remember a seen image is an image that is downloadable somehow.
