Why does shopify not allow you to just select some collections and create a custom view?? I’m shocked this isn’t a feature. Using the filters is sub-optimal as you can’t always have everything you want show up.

Would the Collection-List achieve what your after?
Or are you wanting to merge two collections so all products show for the one collection?
You could try Collection with Collection type Automated and use conditions to populate with products from both collections…
