I want to create a collection where a tags values is NOT EQUAL TO a something, but I cannot select it for the ‘Product Tag’ condition.
What is the reason for this? And can it be opened up for selection??
Thx

@donnamac when you want to create a condition that is not equal to something then the outcome will not be finite. What exactly are you trying to do? May be little more details would help
We mark our items on sale by using a ‘sale’ tag. I was trying to create a collection of full price products where the
… the product tag is not equal to ‘sale’.
Would also be good if I could have put
… the product price is not equal to ‘Compare at Price’
but can only enter a dollar amount.
Overall goal is to easily make discount codes good on just full price items, not sale price and have it good for the full price collection.
p.s. I do understand we can put the condition: Compare at Price is greater than $.01, but we populate the Compare Price the same time we enter product so when we put
it on sale, the employees do not forget to change it. We would have to fix that if we go that route.
thx
Ok,
you may want to create a manual collection if the number of products are not too many.
You can somehow update the variant title with ‘on-sale’ prefix/suffix and use the condition variant title contains
There could be more hacks
I’m on the other thread for the issue of ‘multiple discounts at checkout’ challenge, and have seen all the hacks there, so Ok on that.
I just wanted to see if there was anything more about the ‘not equal to’ part that could or should be done.
Thanks for taking time to reply.
