HI ! I am having trouble creating columns for my blog posts on mobile. It shows up like this and only allows me the option of scrolling sideways instead of stacking and sliding up and down for mobile.
Topic summary
Issue: On Shopify’s Dawn theme (mobile), blog posts appear in a horizontal slider. Multiple users want a vertical feed with two stacked columns instead of sideways scrolling.
Details: The original poster shared a screenshot illustrating the horizontal scroll behavior. Another user confirmed the same need: remove the mobile slider and display 2 columns of blog posts that scroll up/down.
Support request: A community helper asked affected users to share their store URLs to investigate and provide a fix. One user supplied their storefront URL and access password for review.
Status: No code or solution has been posted yet. The thread is awaiting analysis of the provided store and a proposed CSS/theme customization to achieve a 2-column vertical layout on mobile.
Notes: Dawn is Shopify’s default theme; changing mobile blog layout likely involves CSS or theme settings. The attached image is central to understanding the current (slider) behavior. The discussion remains open with unresolved implementation details.
Sorry you are facing this issue, it would be my pleasure to help you.
