Creating multiple websites for different countries while using subdomain

Hi, I have an ecommerce website, let’s say www.domain.com and selling products in US region. Now I wanted to open my site for international market.

For that I’m thinking when visitor come to my website i.e www.domain.com from US than it’ll route to subdomain like www.domain.com/us and when any visitor come outside from Pakistan then user will route to www.domain.com/intl .

I’ve total 20 products which i’m selling in US but I can sell only 5 products in international market. For that I wanted to create a new look for international market where I can change sliders and other banners different from US website and add / remove products.

Can someone help me in this??? Also can I do this in same Shopify plan?

Hi @wajid1 Yes this can be possible, you need to define your normal domain for example: www.domain.com and if you want to sell to other market then it will show something like this: www.domain.com/pk,

Now how can you do this, Please see the screen shot.

Go inside setting-> Markets-> add your market where you want to sell the product-> Add the domain inside that market.

Also if you just want to sell few products in a particular market then you can define that as well.

Once the market will be live, you can edit your theme according to the markets in the theme customize section.

For this you don’t need to upgrade your plan.

If you will unable to implement the same then I’m happy to do this for you, let me know. I can implement the changes so that this will work well for you.

Hopefully it will help you. If yes then Please don’t forget hit Like and Mark it as solution!

Best Regards

Sahil

Different countries can set whether products are sold in that country’s market

Different markets can use different content.
