"Credit Card" label not translating in Checkout (using Translate & Adapt)

Hello everyone,

I recently expanded my Shopify store to serve customers in France. While I’m using the Translate & Adapt app for localization, the “Credit Card” label (currently appearing as “Kreditkarte”) is not being translated in the French checkout. The rest of the store’s translations work fine, but this label remains in German.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

  1. Double-checking all relevant translations in the Translate & Adapt app and re-saving them.

  2. Clearing browser cache and cookies to rule out any caching issues.

  3. Testing on multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari).

  4. Switching to a different theme to see if the issue persists.

Unfortunately, none of these steps have resolved the problem. Has anyone experienced a similar issue or found a solution to ensure that the label displays correctly in French?

Hello @dkrieger0_1 we had a similar translation issue at checkout (using s 3rd party PSP - Adyen). We ended up solving it with shopifys checkout blocks (rename patment method).

yeah i know, not supposed to do translations with :wink: but it solved our issue - very similar to yours.
