I would like to change the way our company is stated on our customer’s credit cared statements.
Currently, it has our name and the “merchant type” as jewelry, watches, clock and silverware" . When we started we did do only jewelry but now we have expanded to other things and people are getting confused that is us. How can I change the “merchant type” to something else that matches our company now.

If you’re looking to change the company information that appears on the customer’s credit card statement (eg. company, phone number), then you can edit the customer billing statement directly from within the Shopify admin. However, in order to change the merchant type for Shopify Payments, we will need to access your account and submit a request to update your business information with our banking partners. While we’re unable to provide account-specific support via the Shopify Community, we’d be happy to further assist you with this through live chat, email, or callback.
