Hi There, we have an issue with currencies causing confusion to our web visitor once they start w/ the sales journey….
Our currency in is Australian Dollars and price of our only product is at $68.75 AUD (that’s because we launched in Australia initially then expanded internationally)
The site automatically converts the currency depending on the local currency of the visitor which is great
Example: someone buying from EU the price on the product page will appear at €48.95
No Problems so far, until that EU user adds the product to his cart to proceed with a sales…
The price now in cart shows at €****68.75 (in Euro not in AUD)
(at this point - we get emails from outraged customers or a post on our socials that our “pricing is not consistent”… “and that we automatically adds €20 on the advertised price when they try to check out…)
We’re using Narrative Theme and it seems to have a speed issue with the display of the cart price because if the user refreshes his browser and start the process again it shows the right price in cart €48.95
but of course no user will refresh his browser hoping for the price to change… by then we’d have lost this buyer and dealing with his/her angry comments / emails
