Critical issue with "Shop Owner" permissions, just started happening

Hello.

I am in the middle of hosting a big restock in my store and am suddenly unable to edit my website at all. I am getting the following error when trying to edit my online store:

”You need permission to view this feature. Your account (my account email here) doesn’t have access to this page.”

I AM logged into the store owner account.
I have cleared my browsing data and cache.
I have tried a different browser.
I have logged out and back in.
I have tried looking into roles and permissions, only to be told that I (the store owner) am not able to edit my own roles. I don’t even know where to begin to look for a solution to this.

This is a major issue that I need to solve as soon as possible. This problem began around 5:50 PM Pacific Time on August 17th (just 5 minutes before I was set to remove the password from my shop and allow customers in).

I was able to remove the password, but I am still locked out of making any sort of edits to my online store and I do not know why.

I am currently flipping out.

Thanks,
Mira

Same thing currently happening to me. I’m using the Colorblock theme version 15.2.0. Not sure if that’s relevant to the issue or not.

Getting the same error. I can’t edit either newly installed themes or my existing ones.

I guess I’m relieved to know that I’m not alone. The “Shopify Status” page isn’t showing any current issues, but I would feel a lot better knowing that this is a known problem that will resolve itself. If that’s what this is, I just can’t believe my unlucky timing. :frowning:

Looks like the Shopify Status page is now showing this as a known error.

Same here. Now it is reported in the Status Page after I have wasted two frustrating hours erasing cookies, changing things and whatnot.
