Cross selling and upselling recommendations for a few specific products

Hi community. Hoping for some recommendations. I want to do some very basic cross sells in my store for specific products.

  • When someone buys UV nail wraps, I want to offer them the mini UV lamp as an add-on
  • when someone buys 3 day nail wraps, I want to offer them the top coat as an add-on
  • when someone buys any kind of wraps, I also want to push the wrap remover pen.
  • in addition I want to do some upsells, for example, if you buy 3 wraps, you get 1 free.
    Could you please recommend best way to do this? Thank you!

From what you’ve described, Cross-Sell Pop-ups from Searchanise Upsell & Marketing (find it in the signature) sound like the best fit - though not all of your requirements will be covered.

They work really well for showing the right product to the right customer at the right time. For example:

  • Display a mini UV lamp in a pop-up when someone adds UV nail wraps to their cart.
  • Suggest a wrap remover pen when a customer buys any type of wrap.
  • Or even trigger the pop-up before checkout—for instance, show the wrap remover pen once the cart value hits $50 to encourage customers to add more.

On top of that, you might also find our product recommendations useful. For example, the Recently Viewed Products widget helps remind shoppers of items they’ve already looked at, making it easier for them to decide.

You could go with a product options app that supports per-product upsells. For example, when a customer chooses UV nail wraps, you can set the mini UV lamp to appear as an add-on option; with 3-day nail wraps, you can suggest the top coat; and for all wraps, you can upsell the remover pen.
