Custom Banner - possible to control max width by modifying code?

Hi,

I have designed two custom banners, the first is 1880px x 650px & displays fine. However, my second banner (used lower down on the same page) is 1880px x 100px but is not scaling the same as the first banner - it’s displaying much larger. I’m using standard theme Taste.

Anyone able to point me in the right direction please? Thanks.

Hi,

The banner scaling issue could be due to the Taste theme’s design. This theme isn’t part of Shopify’s Online Store 2.0, so it may not have all features to show the banners properly. Check out this guide on Add an Announcement for more info.

By the way, you can also use Carousify: Banner Image Slider to show multiple announcements banners at different Products pages and collection pages.

DAWN theme is 2.0 with a lot of necessary features and also completely Free.
