Custom CSS Code to stop banner dynamic resizing/positioning

Topic summary

A user working with the Flow theme encountered an issue where their Slider banner dynamically resizes when the browser window changes size, making it difficult to center text within images. This behavior differs from their “Text with image overlay” section, which has an “Original” setting that maintains static sizing and scales proportionally.

Resolution:

  • The user discovered an original/static setting option for sliders that resolves the issue
  • They attempted to delete the post after finding the solution

Additional suggestion:

  • Another user recommended checking the customize settings for a parallax disable option, which may also affect banner positioning behavior

Edit: nvm i just noticed there was an original setting for the sliders. not able to delete post.

Theme: Flow

Currently I have Sliders as my main banner and Text with image overlay has sub banners for my page. My Text with iamge overlay setting is at Original which keeps the image set and scales down. However, Slider makes it seem like the image is in a container and when i resize down it changes the dyanmic size of my banner.

Is there a custom css where it makes my slider banner static to its original size like my text wit image overlay.

I want to be able to create a slider banner with text within the image but this effect makes it difficult to even try and center text in the image. Having it work similar to Original i dont have to worry about misaligned fonts.

thank you

@innerbloom_team - open this page in customize settings and check if you have an option to disable parallax settings in it
