Custom password page, copy over to new theme

Hi there,

I had a developer build a custom password page for our Black Week sale. This was last year and we are unfortunately no longer working with developer.

The customer password page did not copy over on the new version of theme. I need to copy the code over but I’m no too sure where to start, I don’t know a lot about code or the theme.liquid files in Shopify.

I tried to copy over the password.json file, but I received an error message that section ‘newpassword’ was missing and I realised I was out of my depth.

I have asked a new developer if they might have time to help, but I also suspect it will be a very quick job to do if only I knew how to do it. Shopify plus support suggested I reach out here. Screenshots of the code I was copying over are below:

Well this year you can hire me. And yes you are right this could be a quick job as the code is already set up but there could be limitations as well.

There s no way I or anyone can make you trust on them or myself, I can only try to convince you that if this is a quick one will charge according to that and if there are limitations will go accordingly explaining you all the process trying to keep this as transparent as possible.
