Customer account creation has been disabled

Hi - I have replicated this on my desktop store. A customer of mine got the same message when trying to create an account. I havent changed anything in the settings except add an app which Ive now uninstalled (XB wishlist) and turned off in the settings. Anyone else getting this problem?

Customer account creation has been disabled.

What can I do?

Hi! Thank you for the response. I cannot see that the accounts are disabled. This section last saved 13 Sep 2025.

App embeds the app has completely gone

Customer accounts sign in with a one time code. I’ve just changed it legacy and it seems to work
