How do you send a customer account invite when using the Shopify app?

At this time, sending customer account invites is only possible through a browser. You can use a desktop or your phone to open a supported browser and follow the steps below to send an invite:
- From your Shopify admin, go to Customers.
- Click the name of the customer that you want to invite.
- Click Send account invite.
- Optional: Edit the content in the Subject field.
- In the Custom message field, add a message for your customer. If you leave this field blank, then the default message is sent to the customer.
- Click Review, and then click Send notification.
I’ve submitted the ability to send customer account invites on the Shopify app as a feature request to our platform development team so you can rest assured we will look into the possibility of introducing this feature. If we end up doing so, we will publish it on our Changelog. Thanks for taking the time to share the need for this feature!
This is absolute tosh. Did AI generate this answer? There is no such option ‘Send account invite’ - even ‘through a browser’.
Is Summer even actual Shopify staff or an AI bot filling the support responses with hallucinations?
