We have another customer trying to use AfterPay but each time they find and tap ‘Alternative Payment Methods’, Shop Pay sends a code which totally confuses them (and us).
Shop Pay auto-logged in upon entering the cart because that’s what they used last time but they want to use AfterPay for this sale instead.
What’s weird is that Shop Pay is already logged-in, so why ask to verify again? And what’s even weirder, is that it keeps sending a code when the customer taps ‘Alternative Payment Methods’, which from the customer’s point of view, is completely out of context because they don’t want to use Shop Pay, plus they’re not tapping Shop Pay.
How does the customer use AfterPay in this situation?
Thanks for that but if the customer taps to checkout as a guest, then enters their email (which is the email registered with Shop Pay), then won’t Shop Pay send a code all over again?
Thanks for that, will pass the info along to the customer.
But it’s little wonder people are confused. You have to find tiny, obscure links, or do the very opposite of what the checkout process is asking you to do. No wonder people get uncomfortable and leave.
