Recenty Shopify updated the Customer Merge API and since then some custom coding that we had done is not working to register and auto tag registrants and store that information in the account “notes”
section. We had this custom developed to enable B2B customers to register for certain types of customer accounts with certain permissions and to auto-activate them upon completion. This code has been working for since January and after the updates is no longer working. This has created an issue becasue businesses are unable to register the way the registration code was written. I need this to be troubleshooted as soon as possible. We paid quite a but bit of $ for this to work and it was working until this update. Please see the attached screenshot that our developer provided of the code.
