Customer refund whilst store is paused

Will a customer refund still process if my store is currently paused? I have just processed two refunds and in the timeline they both say ‘refund is pending’. There doesn’t appear to be an email confirmation sent to the customer which was selected. Thanks for you

Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I’m happy to provide some assistance with the pause and build plan, to ensure this gets resolved.

To share some insight, the Pause and Build Plan allows you to continue running your shop at a reduced price. It provides you with access to the Shopify admin to edit products or make any necessary changes. With that said, it also provides you the ability to continue processing refunds for customers if required. For more information on pausing your shop, you can check out our Pause and Build Plan documentation.

As you’ve noted two refunds have been provided but remain pending, are you able to share what payment gateway was used to process the transaction? If the refund was processed through Shopify Payments, it typically takes around 2 business days to be completed. For more information on refunds, please check out our Creating Returns and Refunds documentation as it touches on this further.
