Customer Support Advisor - Do They Exist?

Spent six hours yesterday in the queue to speak with a customer support advisor before giving up. Entering into hour three today and losing the will to live.

Does anyone actually man the live chat function? As it is the only support option for the majority of Shopify users, how can this length of wait be justified?

If the live chat function isn’t fit for purpose then the very least that Shopify can do is provide an email address where fee paying customers can get an answer to their support issues.

While I’m not an employee of Shopify, I can tell you that they get quite a lot of requests every day.

With that being said, please let us know what the issue is and maybe we can help you out and give you an answer a bit quicker :slightly_smiling_face:

Even so, a major company like Shopify should be able to do better. The suggestion when joining the queue that the estimated wait is less than five minutes is absolutely laughable. Dealt with a lot of different businesses via live chat systems and never seen one this bad.
