I have set up Northern Ireland as a shipping destination in Shopify admin. This is the only country within the UK that I ship to (from Ireland). However the customer cannot select Northern Ireland as a ship to country when filling out shipping info for an order. They can only select UK which results in the customer getting this message:

This order can’t be shipped to the address you entered. Review your address to ensure that all fields have been entered correctly and try again.

Seems that Shopify admin allows you to select individual countries within the UK (NI, Scotland, Wales, England) to ship to. But the shipping form only provides a UK option therefore resulting in message above.

Can Shopify please rectify this discrepancy?

I contacted Shopify Support and the issue was that I didn’t have the UK market activated. I activated it and I also have a UK shipping region with only Northern Ireland in it. I tested and site will now ship to Northern Ireland.
