Customer wanting to delete my information from your database

I don’t know how I have become linked to shopify, but I would like to delete my address and card details from your database. I don’t know what purchase has used this method to access my payment details, so cannot go back to them to ask them to delete me.
please could someone let me know asap how to do this.

In this case, you can contact Shopify Support team and ask them to remove your information. Provide them clearly your situation, including unknown purchase you was charged. The Support team will assist you as soon as possible.

It sounds like you are wondering how to remove your details from Shop Pay - is that correct? Perhaps you are noticing that when you are in the checkout of a store it prompts you to enter a verification code, and you are receiving these via SMS messages?

If you would like to stop this from happening, then you can indeed opt out of Shop Pay completely. Opting out of Shop Pay means that your stored data will be deleted, and you won’t receive any verification codes by SMS again. You can however still use Shop to track your orders and follow stores. Feel free to follow the instructions on this page here which explains how you can do this.

If you wish to completely delete your account and all data then you can delete your Shop account instead. Deleting your account will remove all data from Shop, however after you delete your Shop account, you won’t have access to any Shop features such as delivery updates, Shop Pay, or shopping in the app.
