The pickup option for online orders has suddenly went away and customers do not have the option to choose it at checkout. I have went through everything and have local pick up selected as an option but it still isn’t there for customers. Can anyone help, please?

However, there are a few steps before enabling local pickup that we can review to ensure the feature is properly set up.

Stock inventory at your pickup location.

Verify that the fulfillment priority order for your online orders is set up to meet your business needs.

Let each pickup location fulfill online orders.
Once these steps are complete, I recommend testing this on your end with a few different products to ensure it is working correctly. I have tested it on my end, and I see the local pickup option, which may mean that it may just be certain items that do not have availability for pickup. In this case, I would look into those products and make sure there is inventory in your pickup location for those specific items.

Thanks, Emily. Yes, I have made sure all of the steps you outlined above are in place, but it still isn’t working. I spent some time on the phone with Shopify support yesterday. They were stumped too.
In the meantime, I have worked around the problem by creating a rate so customers can choose to pick up in store, but that isn’t really a solution because my staff can’t fulfill the orders like true store pick ups and there isn’t a way to notify customers when their orders are ready.
