I keep getting calls from customers that are freaking out because they have multiple charges from Shopify. We are losing customers because they think we are scamming them! This is clearly not a new problem and I’m utterly shocked that it hasn’t been fixed yet. I see threads about this happening that go back at least 3 years. Shopify continues to blame the banks but that simply isn’t true. There is no other payment platform that has this problem. Only Shopify! When is this going to get fixed…or does shopify even care?

I can understand and appreciate your concern about your customer being overcharged. We absolutely do not condone any fraudulent activity on Shopify. Can you provide me with what payment gateway you are using?

This is happening to me as well. Looks like cost of orders are being update by about $.40 What can I do to make adjustments so customers only get one charge?
This just happened twice within a week! I just got yelled at by a customer, and lost 2 customers. What’s being done about this?!
