Some customers on my store got charged twice for the orders that are coming through the Recharge app.
I’m not sure what the reason is but it’s causing the customers to freak out and my CS team is very anxious about this issue as well.
Recharge doesn’t have any info on the second charge but it can be seen on Stripe and Shopify.
There are also instances where the customer was charged by the Recharge app and then their order wasn’t placed on Shopify.
These issues happen when the initial charge attempt was declined and then the customer was charged twice right after that.
My store is based in UK and 3D secure authentication is compulsory here, could that be the cause of the issue?
Has anyone else also encountered this issue?
