I would like to customise my website account and checkout pages. When I click on those on the editor I get this message:
Is it because I dont’t have Shopify Plus plan (I have the Grow plan)?
It’s not possible to edit anything at all, event fonts and colours, without that?

I would like to inform you that you can customize the account page without Shopify plus but you won’t be able to add any extionsion or any custom code at the checkout page. You can change the font of the checkout page and you can also edit the customer account page as per your need. Can you please confirm are you adding some widget or doing some normal customization?
I want to inform you that sometimes this type of error appears to me. When it appears, I login to my incognito mode and everything works smoothly. I recommend you to check on the incognito tab.

That message appears because the theme editor can’t load system pages like the checkout or account pages. It’s not an error — it just means those pages aren’t editable through the visual editor on your plan.
You can still change colors, fonts, and branding from Settings → Checkout → Customize, but deeper customization of those pages isn’t available outside Shopify Plus.
Most times check your internet connection. Check your routers & Wi-fi
I tried with incognito mode but it gives me the same message. I’d like to customise some basic stuff like font and colours, without using any app
I can’t find this in my Shopify editor, could you send me a screenshot of where it is?
Try with a different freshly installed theme.
Turn off excess browser extensions
Log in/out and or
clear the browser cache keepin g in mind this can clear data of other websites etc.
The theme editor at minimum should pass you around to editing styles for those resource types.
I managed to access to the page through the settings, but when I apply the edits and I refresh the page they are not saved. Do you know how I could fix this issue? I’m also in contact with Shopify’s customer support but they’re not able to help

Your Shopify plan is the main factor determining how much you can customize the checkout and account pages.
Checkout Page:

Non-Plus Plans (like yours): Customization is limited to branding elements. You can make changes to the logo, colors, fonts, and background images through your theme’s settings. You don’t have access to the checkout.liquid file, which is necessary for deep customizations of the layout and functionality.

Shopify Plus: This plan offers much more flexibility, including access to Shopify’s Checkout Extensibility, which allows for significant modifications.
Account Pages:

“New Customer Accounts”: If your store uses this feature, customization options are very limited. These pages are hosted by Shopify and don’t use your theme’s styling, leading to a less cohesive brand experience.

“Classic Customer Accounts”: This older version offers more customization possibilities through your theme and third-party apps
The error you’re seeing is due to Shopify’s built-in restrictions for editing checkout and account pages on non-Plus plans. While you can’t freely edit every aspect of these pages, you can still make branding adjustments through your theme’s settings.
