Customise Dawn Theme Blog Post Button Text

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for assistance to customise the blog post button on my Dawn themed shop. Said blog can be found here. The button to be customised is the Back to blog button at the bottom of the content. Is it possible to change it to read More news instead? If so, how can I achieve it?

Hi @cmerepets There are few ways to achieve this, follow whichever you think is good for you.

  1. You can edit the text from the theme code, you need to change the text where it is written in the code files.
  2. You can add custom code so that you can hide this text and add new text in place of this.
  3. You can edit the theme default wording, you can change the wording to the wording of your choice.

If you are not sure where is your theme default wording then please follow the steps:

  1. Login in shopify admin.
  2. Click on the Online Store.
  3. Then click on the button next to Customize in live Theme.
  4. Click Edit Default theme content.
  5. Here you will see all the default content of your theme, you can update the wording from here by searching it.

If you will unable to implement the same then I’m happy to do this for you, let me know. I can implement the code changes so that this will work well for you.
