Add a Drop-down Menu in The Atelier Theme
Go to Online Store → Navigation → Main menu, then create a new menu item (this will be your main heading). Under it, add “nested” links by dragging them slightly to the right — that creates the drop-down effect. Save, then assign that menu to your theme’s header in the theme editor.
Set Up Pre-orders
Shopify doesn’t have a native pre-order feature, but you can:
Remove or adjust inventory tracking so the product stays available even when out of stock.
Change the “Add to cart” button text to “Pre-order” (theme editor or code).
Optionally use a pre-order app from the Shopify App Store for more automation (dates, limits, notifications).
Create a Coming Soon Page with Email Capture
Go to Online Store → Preferences and enable password protection.
Add your “coming soon” message to the password page content.
To capture emails, add the newsletter signup form (in the password page settings) so visitors can subscribe while the site is under construction.
