I am working in an unpublished theme Sense.
I see where to customize the collection page template, but how do you customize each individual collection page?
In my current theme Impulse, I just edit the collection page directly in the editor and save, but in sense it only saves the template across the whole site.
What am I missing? Please help!
Hi @medusasmakeup , you must create a new template for each collection to customize the individual collection page. You can check this to learn how to create new templates for your collections

So is there any way to complete these actions in an unpublished theme? Or do you have to publish in order to do this?
I have a running site now and was looking to completely rebuild a new site, then go live when it is completed, with as little interruption as possible.

Is this where you would assign the collection? It is greyed out. Plus wouldn’t that affect the current published theme? Confused!
@medusasmakeup - it is greyed out as right now it has only this single template to assign to collection or this is draft theme not live,
if you create more or make it live then it will show up other templates too
