Hello,
Working on building a site, I added one-page “customer photos”, added a slide show, no problem.
Then I added more pages, right now there is just one more extra page (a custom Terms, Policy, FAQ page), but as I tinker, and more pages, regardless of how many pages, the problem is, all pages I make after “client photos page” inserts the slide show at the bottom of that page.
So, I think no problem, I will just go on that extra page and hide the slideshow, easy peasy. Nope, when I do this, it hides the slide show on all extra pages, including the one “customer photos”.
This is going to present even further trouble for me, I have a new page I want to make called “Customer Reviews”.
On this page, I am going to add ANOTHER slideshow and use screenshots of reviews from my Etsy store as a temporary stop-gap (solution) until I get another review system in place. Now, I have not begun that work, because I already know what is going to happen. That slideshow is going to go attach itself to all past and future created pages just like the one mentioned above.
This problem does not stop at slide shows, anything I add to a custom page, or a page I added, duplicates itself on all extra pages. Blogs, photos with text, there seems to be no limit to the duplication of elements.
So, what is needed is code that tells Dawn, on every page made current and future, do NOT duplicate anything from that single page to other pages. It’s almost like everything one creates on an extra page acts as a permanently locked footer. And I am NO expert, but I know what isn’t logical.
So any suggestions would be great!
