Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I’d be happy to provide some assistance with this request, to ensure it gets resolved. To confirm, are you looking to have the circled image appear as the main product image?
If so, you can head into the Products section from the Shopify admin to complete this. Once you’ve located the product, you can drag and drop that image to the first space to have it appear as the main product media. For reference, I’ve included a screenshot below:

I’m having the same problem. The big picture - main product doesn’t show first when you click the product. The first variant shows.
I think I fixed it. I Changed the product-media-gallery.liquid file. Let me know if anyone wants the file. A lot of code changes. Crazy that this problem still exist.

Hi @Makisy search first https://community.shopify.com/search?q=dawn+first+image for existing solutions.
In some themes/versions this can be from the variant being selected when the product is visited.
This is on purpose to lower customer confusion when they are choosing options either on the product page itself or coming from search, collections, the internet etc etc etc.
So REAAALY think that through before making a UX change that can create customer confusion just to satisfy some personal design choice.
In some themes just turn off auto select variant or similarly named features.
Otherwise it’s an advanced theme customization, reach out to me for services to take control of theme behaviors more granularly.
