I’m working in Dawn 14.0, and have changed the color scheme across my site but noticing on the Collection pages that the ‘Sort by’ drop down is not aligning to the established scheme coloring. The coloring should have a background of #121212 with text #FFFFFF. Can someone help me solve this?

You can try this code by following these steps:
Step 1: Go to the online store ->Theme ->Edit Code.
Step 2: Find the theme.liquid file and add the following code above the tag
