Dawn theme - can't find product page to edit out shipping etc.. details

Hi

I’ve just launched my store and realised on each individal product page at the bottom there are shipping, materials, dimensions and care instrucitons which are not needed for my digital products.

I can’t find how to disable these from the page along with the image and text box below it.

You can totally remove those blocks/sections from your product pages within the theme editor:

  • From your Shopify admin, navigate to Online Store > Themes > Customize

  • From the page select menu, select Product pages > Default product

  • Find the block from the left menu and click on the eye button to disable it.

  • You can also remove that block completely by click on it and click on “Remove block”

Which category does your own Digital product base on?

Hey thanks for the feedback . I had seen on previous posts what you describe. My problem is I can’t find ’ product information’ on my dashboard. I have no idea where it is, can’t find it anywhere.

Hi @Home_Homeopath ,

You need to choose the product page from the page select menu at the top of the screen first.

If you can’t find that menu on your screen, please zoom out your screen a little bit with the “Ctrl and -” shortcut so you can see all options. Every theme has this menu.

I really appreciate your help, but its truly not there. I’ve zoomed in and out, it’s not there.

I’m just not finding the same part of the dashboard that you have.

Kindly follow these 2 steps to open the product page template editor

  1. Please open your theme editor:
  • From your Shopify admin, navigate to Sales channels > Online Store > Themes > Customize

  1. Open the product page within your theme editor, not your Shopify dashboard.

There you will see the option to disable Materials, Dimensions, etc.

This was the first screen shot I sent you from my themes, customise etc.. there is no product information tab there like you have in the screen shots you sent me. I’ve zoomed out there its not there.

I suggest you clear the browser cache or try another browser/device since every theme editor has that menu.
