Dawn theme - changing from default to craft within the theme

Hi. I am just wondering about the drop down in Dawn Theme - default or craft - and if I were to change from default to craft, what would the gains be and what would I lose in the process besides the variants in the products? I have got well into setting up my store in Dawn, and realised that in a “page” there are “featured products” and not products. I have set up a lengthy drop down on the home page which is “artists bios” and on the pages themselves I am wanting the bio of the artist, and underneath on the same page, their current works for sale. It’s got me stumped as to how I can do this. Anyone? Thanks

For dropdown or mega menu,

if you are looking drop down then use the Dropdown app.

Thank you for your response. I do not need a dropdown menu, I already have one on my homepage - (artists bio), and each artist in the dropdown is linked to an artists bio page. I want to have the current artists works listed for sale under the bio on the same page. The products have to relate to that particular artist. Sure, I can edit one artists page to have featured products under the bio, but those same featured products then end up on every artists bio page. I need the products to match the individual artists. I hope I explained that better this time, cheers

After much research - I think I may have found a direction to solving this - metafields. Does anyone here know if that would be the solution?
