I’d like to have product type filters to be as tabs in one line instead of drop down.
Obviously should apply only to collection pages.

Sorry, it is a complicated change, so it will be difficult for someone to guide you in detail.
I recommend you hire an expert for it, they will help you change the entire liquid filter code, so that it shows up as tabs.
