@kbac you will need to make change to description of the each product if you use the solution above, if you have many products then it becomes difficult

@kbac - yes, you will need to go to collection back end and for each collection with long description you will need to apply the solution given above. It will be a simple button and not graphic design.

There is one default theme, so only one page to modify.

There is no way of changing any collection description as they come from an external source.

@kbac - which external source are you using? is it coming via an app? if it allows to edit the external source then in that case collection template liquid code needs to be edited which will restrict the description, but this will do for each and every collection

I want to change the theme NOT the collection data. The product and collection data is coming from an external source.

I still don’t understand - why do you ask “how many collections?” then?
If it is a modification of Dawn theme, it does not matter if I would have 5 or 5000 collections with a long text.

Anyway, I am still looking for a solution.
