Dawn Theme, different image banners for mobile and desktop

Hello.

I’ve coded so that my image banners are different for mobile and desktop according to this thread: https://community.shopify.com/topic/1362462 and the function works great. However the image on desktop is all blurry and not appealing to look at. Why is this and is there something I can do so that the image is not blurry on desktop? The image for mobile is fine.
Is there maybe something in the css codes that messes this up?

thanks for your reply.

I have two different versions for mobile and desktop, made possible with the coding from a past help-topic that I mentioned in my original question.
There is one image for desktop and another for mobile, but for some reason the one for desktop all of a sudden is blurry and that is my problem. @SimonD
