Dawn Theme : Hide Variant Option from Product Page Only

So I’m using the 2.0 Dawn theme.

I would like to be able to use a variant input (in this case Brand) but for backend/app-related work only. I don’t want the Brand to display on the product page. Is there a way to adjust the code so I can still input a unique variant in the backend without having it display on the front end?
