Dawn theme - How to navigate to a part of the homepage?

Hi. I love the Dawn theme but I really want my homepage to have all info a person needs. On the image banner, I want one of the buttons to navigate down to a “How it works” section of my homepage (lower down).

How can I go about this? In other words, rather than the user be navigated to a new page, I went them to basically navigate to a section further down my hompage by pressing the button on my main image banner.

@Umar -check if button is allowing link to the id of section on home page, if it does then it can be achieved

No it doesn’t allow it. But I’ve seen some people with other themes do it with some sort of code edit
