www.junko.store is my website link, i am trying to make the header transoarent so the gif covers the whole screen. This is how it currently looks
Topic summary
A user is attempting to make the header transparent on their Shopify store’s password page so a GIF can cover the entire screen.
Proposed Solutions:
-
Code Removal Approach: One suggestion involves editing the
password.liquidfile in the theme code editor and removing specific section markup for the password header and footer. -
Visual Guide Method: Another response provides step-by-step screenshots showing how to modify the password page settings through the theme customization interface.
-
Current Status Clarification: A third responder notes that upon inspection, the password page appears to have no header and the GIF already covers the full screen. They suggest the black bar issue may be browser-specific rather than a theme configuration problem.
Resolution Status: The discussion remains open, with multiple solutions offered but no confirmed resolution from the original poster.

Hi @jjunko ,
Go to Online store > Themes > Edit code > password.liquid file, find those line of code and remove
{% section 'main-password-header' %}
{% section 'main-password-footer' %}
Hi @jjunko ,
This is Victor from PageFly - Free Landing Page Builder.
On the password page, there is no header on it. Also, I checked your page and noticed that the gif currently covers the whole screen.
In the below screenshot, the black bar appears because you are viewing the page on some special browsers.
Hope this can help you solve the issue.
Best regards,
Victor | PageFly
