Dawn Theme - Materials, shipping, dimension, care

On the product page of the Dawn them when you preview it on the right there are four sections - material, dimensions, shipping and care. When I am on the “edit” section of the product page these items do not appear nor do I see how to edit them or remove them?

Can anyone advise on how to either fill these items in or remove them?

Hi,

They are not located under Product > Edit.

Those blocks can be modified from

Online Store > Theme > Customize > Top Center - Click “Home page” (or arrow - screenshot below) for dropdown menu

Click “Products” from the dropdown menu

Click “Default product”

On your left hand side, your will see the blocks you want to edit.

You can modify, move position, remove, edit title & content, add more blocks and more.

1. In order to add different Dimensions, Materials and Care Instructions for each product, you first need to create metafield and then connect it with your theme setting to display metafield on your product pages:

• Create Metafield by going to Setting > Metafields > Products > Add definition > fill out the required info.
• Go to Products > Within each product page, scroll down to the bottom and you’ll see the metafield you’ve created before, then fill out the specific content for each.
• Navigate to Online Store > Theme > Customize
• Select Products then Default Product from the page selector at the top
• Within the sidebar menu, click on the Materials section > Row content > click on the Insert Dynamic Source as the photo attached below > Select the associated metafiled

• Finally, hit Save
• Do the same with Dimensions
• For Care Instructions, if it’s the same for all products, simply enter the content directly in the Row Content.

2. If you want to delete these blocks, simply choose “Remove Block” from the theme editor
