I am looking for a simple solution that would allow my menu links to be on either side of my centered logo. At the moment all the navigation links are continuously put on the left hand side only.

Ive seen a 2 or 3people posting a design like this, but this design cant be done in simple code. Sorry but you need a developer to do this.
