My pages are not loading into the Pages Section of the home page, the help article it redirects to was very vague

The home page. I added “Pages” section but when I select the pages I want to add to the section they are not loading.
I want it to link to the DOGS Page. I want to hide the Dogs collection.
I’m trying to load my Dogs Page into a Pages section on the home page and when I do that the page is not loading, it gives an error message. I am not loading a collection.

I have been trying to figure it out, but I don’t know why it is not loading the page. It is a url from my own site, it is not redirected. And it was not an html error. That’s why I am posting here, to see what the problem could be. I don’t know how to check if there is an invalid liquid code in the theme.

I tested it on my test store and was able to replicate the issue.
Upon further investigation, I found out that you need to add content to your page in order for the section to display properly on your home page.

Thank you so much, yes, adding content made it visible on the home page but it still does not function, it’s not clickable.
