Dawn theme slideshow invisible button and getting it clickable

Hoping someone can help with this. I am currently using the dawn theme and have no idea how to get my new graphic clickable without adding a psychical button there. I would love to be able to make the button inside the design clickable but if thats not possible or not that easy I am fine to have the whole box clickable. I just dont want the “buton label” visible. As soon as I make that field blank, or try it with a “space”, the link doesnt work anymore. Any help would be awesome!

* Is it possible to make 2 areas on a static image banner clickable and go to different links?

just looked in image-banner and couldnt find top code in there. not sure if it makes a difference but I am using “slideshow” should I be using “image banner”?
