Please assist we are running specials with already discounted prices however we don’t want our customers to be able to use discount codes on these items, is there a way to do this?

So while there isn’t a direct way to exclude products from certain discounts, there is a workaround you can apply using Collections by applying discount logic to a certain collection only.
To do this, create a new Collection (automated or manual) and add all of your products that aren’t already discounted into this collection. An easy way would be to use the condition “Compare at Price = Empty” which means all products that aren’t already discounted will be added to the Collection.
Once this is done, head over to your discount page, and edit your existing discount. Using the “Applies to” section, find and apply it to the Collection you just made.
Now your discount code will only work for the products found within that Collection. That’s it! If you need any clarification on those steps, just let me know.
