Debut theme - all my products require personalization. How to add that text box for every product?

Is there a way to add a text box for the customer to enter details regarding the personalization of their product they order from me?

I would like this feature for all my products.

Took me awhile as I tried various ways to make the text box appear where I wanted it. In the end, the Shopify UI Elements Generator was the resource that did the trick. It was mentioned in the link you provided. I appreciate your help very much!

Hi,

I am wanting to do something similar to the initial question, however I am attempting to give the customer an option to add a name. I figured thru attributes I can come up w/2 different prices for the same item (I.e. $18 for a hat w/o a name and $20 for a hat w/name), but how do I get the system to understand that when they choose the with name option that they must input a name? Also, I want to limit the number of characters for said inputted name, so how do I go about setting that up?
