I have installed the Bucks Currency Converter App and it is showing the website currency and the chosen currency next to each other on the product pages. However, it should only show the chosen currency.
The team from Bucks could see that there are two money formats in my theme. One of them has span class money and that’s why it is showing the converted amount.
They recommended getting it in touch with the developer to remove the other from the theme as it will show a single amount then.
Look forward to any recommendations on how to proceed on this.
The currency converter box should stay, just where the price is mentioned on all products it shows the website currency and next to it the currency chosen currency from the currency box on top left of the page. It should just show the chosen currency so the other one needs to be removed.
Maybe it takes me half an hour to figure it out. After installing the Debut theme and BUCKS: Currency Converter, I keep exploring. The money format of BUCKS may conflict with the one originally provided by the theme.
You should comment, not copy the code. (Because it is about Liquid which defines the structure of the webpage). Coping code snippets into the file will not work in this situation.
If you are not familiar with tech stacks like Liquid, CSS, HTML, Javascript and so on, you’d better contact a web developer or Shopify developer.
Yes, you should contact the Debut theme developer to fix this issue via Shopify customer service online chat.
And you can also hire me to get the job done for I am an experienced web developer and Shopify developer.
Thank you so much @Gavin . I actually do not have any experience and am happy that you clarified this more in detail.
Could you please kindly send me your rates (in a private message) to get this issue fixed? I would like to use the currency converter as I can sell worldwide but feel I am losing out on business only having UAE currency on my website by now.
Thanks a lot and I look forward to hearing from you : )
